SPRINGFIELD, Vermont – Cornhole is open every Tuesday at 1 p.m. Cribbage is open at 9 a.m. on August 28th. Hand & Foot card games are open at 1 p.m. on August 29th and September 27th. Knitting is open at 1 p.m. on September 5th and 19th. Cards and games are open at 1 p.m. on September 5th and 20th. Wizard card game is open at 1 p.m. on September 6th. Nickel Bingo is open at September 13th and 25th.
Ceramics classes begin the week of September 9th. Gentle mat yoga (10am) begins September 9th. Chair yoga (9am) and strength training (10am) begin September 10th. Cribbage league begins September 11th (8:45am). Shuffleboard league (12:30pm) on September 12th.
The Senior Center will be closed on August 30th and September 2nd for Labor Day.
Due to low registrations, the Lake Champlain luncheon has been cancelled.
Our annual Tree Farm Campgroup picnic will be held on September 4th from 11am-3pm. This is a potluck event.
Come hear the Charlestown Silvertones sing here on Wednesday, September 11th at 1pm. Mark Shelton will perform here on Wednesday, September 18th at 1pm.
We are now selling tickets for our September calendar drawing. The last drawing last year went so well that we decided to do another one. Tickets are $5 each. Each ticket gives you 30 chances to win.
We continue to collect food for local food banks.
Appointments are required for the foot clinics. You can call the center to schedule an appointment. In January, the price increased to $25.
