Palworld launches Twitch Summer Drops Fest
In an apparent attempt to capitalize on the game’s popularity on Amazon’s streaming service, Pocketpair has announced a new promotion that allows Steam users to get some exclusive Palworld Skins via Twitch Drops. The studio plans to give away a total of three cosmetic items, the first of which comes in the form of a Golden Relaxaurus, which can be purchased from now until August 27th. This exclusive skin will be followed in that order by Sailor Quivern and Summer Chillet, both of which will be available for one week each.

To get these skins, Twitch and Steam accounts must be linked through both the game’s website and Twitch itself. From there, fans must spend an hour browsing the skins eligible for the campaign. Palworld Streams for each of the three cosmetic items during their respective promotional periods. These broadcasts can be conveniently filtered on Twitch using the “DropsEnabled” tag. Multiple streams running simultaneously will not fulfill the watch time requirement any faster. After one hour has passed, fans can claim their reward by clicking the “Claim Now” button on the Twitch Drops inventory page.
How to get Palworld Twitch Drops
- Visit the Palworld Twitch Drops website.
- Log in with your Twitch account.
- Sign in with your Steam account.
- In your Twitch settings, make sure your Steam account is linked to your Twitch account.
- During the promotion period, watch campaign-eligible Palworld streams (marked by the DropsEnabled tag) while logged into Twitch.
- After one hour of watching, claim a skin via the Twitch Drops inventory page.
When you do all this, a new cosmetic item will be added to the Steam account. Palworld Skins can be activated via the Pal Dressing Facility, an in-game building introduced as part of the Sakurajima Update 0.3.1.0 that rolled out in late June 2024. The Pal Dressing Facility is categorized as a Tier 1 technology item that is automatically unlocked for all players. It requires 30 Workload units, 10 Stones, and 10 Paldium Fragments to build.
The launch of Pocketpair’s Twitch Summer Drops Fest promotion came just before another Palworld Update. The new patch with version number 0.3.6 reached Steam players on August 22nd and introduced server and save data fixes. The update is expected to be available for Xbox Game Pass and console versions of Palworld in the next few days, as soon as Microsoft has certified it.
