Where to get Snakehead Mushrooms in Black Myth: Wukong

Snakehead mushrooms are most commonly found when collecting mushroom groups on the ground throughout the Blackwind Mountain region of Chapter 1. They appear as clusters of bright yellow mushrooms that are often found off the main trails in the mountainous region. Collecting a cluster of mushrooms will usually yield two Snakehead Mushrooms.

These mushroom clusters do not respawn, so you only need to walk through the Blackwind Mountain region once to collect everything there is to find. Players can also obtain Snakehead Mushrooms by Purchase from the Shrine Store for 120 Will each. Not every shrine shop in each chapter sells Snakehead Mushrooms, so you’ll need to advance to later chapters in the game to purchase more, but the total number you can purchase is limited throughout the game.

Both of these mortal remedies are offensively focused and fit well with a high focus point build to deal a lot of damage to bosses quickly. These mortal remedies can also be purchased from shrine shops or found in chests, but the best method to get them is to gather the ingredients to craft them yourself. The other two crafting materials listed above are found in abundance in the first two chapters of the game, so players can easily stock up on these useful remedies for the later sections of the game.
