Angelina Jolie’s daughter Shiloh has been praised for her growing “confidence” after her dance teacher gave her an incredible new perspective on the teenager’s abilities.
Shiloh, who turned 18 last month, has been dancing for several years and her teacher Kolanie Marks has released a new video of the young girl dancing to “Fly S–” by Capella Grey, Jaewon and Young MA.
“Yo!! That’s it, I’m officially her ADOPTED UNCLE LMAO!” Kolanie jokingly captioned the video: which you can watch below:
“I’ve watched this so many times and my confidence is growing and building! Keep going @sh1lohj I’m so proud! Choreography: @devin_solomon,” he concluded.
In the video, the teenager also sported short hair and revealed that she was growing out her buzzcut, which she showed off in a dance video in early July, along with Puma pants and a printed sweater.
Cheers could be heard from offstage as she performed the moves choreographed by Devin Solomon.
Shiloh’s dancing talent began several years earlier. Kolanie wrote on social media that she “went on fire” on her first visit to the studio, but kept returning with a desire to improve.
“THANK YOU POST! @sh1lohj ladies and gentlemen!!! So much love for this human being… I met Shiloh in my Millennium class and she burst into flames… She shouldn’t have been in there!” he captioned an earlier video that showed two clips, one of Shiloh at the beginning of her journey and another months later.
“I saw something authentic though…she kept coming back and yes, she still went down in flames! Not until we started having private one-on-ones! Of everyone I train in LA, she’s the one I’ve spent the most time with! There’s something about her that doesn’t give up!” he continued.
“Most never experience what I have to offer because they can’t get over the intensity…but those who do, experience what my God-given gift is! That is to evolve! The first clip is a few months after we started and the second clip was about a week ago! I’m proud and no, we’re not done yet!”
© Mike MarslandShiloh’s father Brad Pitt told the press in 2022 that he loved his daughter’s dedication to dancing but that he didn’t know where she got it from, joking, “I’m Mr. Two-Left-Feet here.”
But the couple’s relationship now appears to have broken down, as the 18-year-old’s legal request to change her name and drop the Pitt surname was recently granted.
Brad and Angelina welcomed Shiloh in Namibia on May 27, 2006. She was their first biological child after they had already adopted Maddox and Zahara. The now estranged couple also welcomed twins Knox and Vivienne.
Shiloh is the first of their six children to make the change, although Vivienne, Zahara and Maddox also avoid the name Pitt in public appearances.
