JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WCYB) — The ETSU Martin Center in Johnson City, Tennessee, has announced its highly anticipated Spring 2025 Broadway season, presented by Bank of Tennessee.
The Spring Broadway season includes four notable shows from January to April.
The season begins with “Pretty Woman: The Musical” on 27 to 28 January. This musical, sponsored by Food City, is based on one of Hollywood’s most beloved love stories of all time.
The second musical to be performed in the Martin Center’s spring season is “Hadestown,” which will take to the stage 10 to 12 March. “Hadestown” is the winner of eight Tony Awards in 2019 and weaves the myths of Orpheus and Eurydice into a modern retelling. The film is sponsored by Bravissima! Women support the arts!
To 15 to 17 April The Martin Center will host the musical “Dear Evan Hansen,” sponsored by Frontier Health. “Dear Evan Hansen” was commissioned by the WashingtonPost and is the first musical to take a look at our complex, interconnected and social media-driven lives.
The conclusion of the Broadway season in spring 2025 will be New York Times The critically recommended song “Come From Away” will be performed on 28 – 29 Aprilsponsored by Tri-Cities Airport. This musical is based on the true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small Newfoundland town that took them in after the September 11 attacks.
