With Lindsay Lohan Filming a sequel to A crazy Friday and the power of nostalgia at the box office, fans might hope that the actress will remake another classic – The Twin Trap.

The actress played the twins Hallie and Annie in the 1998 film, marking her career breakthrough.

All these years later, The Twin Trap remains a classic, and fans are certainly interested in seeing the twins again. Lindsey‘s father on screen Dennis Quaid had some concerns about making a sequel.

“That would be fantastic,” Dennis told ET when asked about this possibility, adding: “But Natasha. How do we do this without Natasha?”

Natasha Richardson played Lindsey‘s mother in the film. However, she died tragically in 2009 at the age of 45.

The actor noted that the loss of Natasha “still breaks my heart.”

Although their absence would make a sequel more difficult, Dennis left the possibility open and said: “You never know.”

The Twin Trap was like a whole new career for me. It’s so close to my heart. It’s such a beautiful film,” he recalled. “And I think people will be watching it 100 years from now, I really do.”
