Longoni: Ibrahimovic “the biggest disappointment” for Milan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic joined RedBird and AC Milan at the end of last year, taking on further responsibility after six months of management experience. However, things have not been going so well for the Swede so far, as Andrea Longoni argues.

Ibrahimovic has increasingly spoken out in his role and held the press conferences of the new signings, and Gerry Cardinale has previously made it clear that the Swede is his right handHowever, with one point from two games, the start of the season was difficult.

On Twitter, expert Andrea Longoni shared his thoughts on the situation and explained that Ibrahimovic was the biggest disappointment in all of this. Lots of words and little action from the former striker.

“Ibra is the biggest disappointment. He continues with his (already watered down) slogans. He doesn’t realise that he has already used up the fame of his great past as a footballer. As a director, he has the experience of an intern. Even better as an influencer. To date, a half-disaster, conceited,” he writes.

Milan now needs to win their match against Lazio next week, but their record against the Biancocelesti at the Olimpico has not been great in recent years. They won their last game there, but a lot has changed since then.
