Drake announces his Rihanna collaboration “Too Good” is about Serena Williams

Drake has confirmed that his 2016 collaboration with Rihanna, “Too Good,” was inspired by Serena Williams. The news comes from a behind-the-scenes video of the Toronto rapper explaining the song to his mother, which was included with his release of 100 Gigabytes of Material on Tuesday. He had originally included “Too Good” on his album’s tracklist. Views.

“It’s funny because when I write songs about women, I also write songs for them, so I know what kind of song to write. If I’m talking about them, at least I’m doing them justice by writing them a song that they like,” Drake says in the video. “I know Serena very well and I know she’s going to hear it loud and clear but won’t hate me for it because it’s lighthearted.” His mother doesn’t seem surprised to learn that the song is inspired by Williams.

One user wrote, “He’s making someone in his contacts nervous who should be checking on him better. Posting these videos years later is obsession.
