Drake enrages his fans with numerous teasers for new music on Instagram

Drake fans are still digesting his latest three-pack, but luckily for them, it seems like they’re getting even more of a satiation of their hunger for new music. Thanks to his recent IG Story post about his burner account “plottttwisttttt,” diehard OVO fans believe he’ll be releasing even more material on his accounts very soon, regardless of whether it ends up streaming. Additionally, the post shows a ton of Mac file folders under the “ICEMAN” umbrella, which some people believe will lead to a new album by that name. The folder titles suggest Nothing was as before Cuts, Popcaan tracks, “Trophies” versions, content from listening parties and footage or recordings from OVO Fest. No matter how you interpret them, these archives point to a wide range of content that the 6ix god could gift to his fans.

So this is very exciting for his followers, especially as they continue to discuss “Supersoak,” “No Face,” and “Circadian Rhythm.” Of course, a big part of this discussion revolves around what Drake had to say to his many opponents in the 2024 feud. There are many references to his enemies in these cuts; some sound more specific, while most of them are pretty general. It seems as though the Toronto superstar is giving his opponents a broad and “subliminal” runaround… But the Boogeyman could be just around the corner for another round.

Drake sends OVO fans into a frenzy by announcing tons of possible content

Additionally, one of Drake’s biggest media allies, DJ Akademiks, recently claimed that – according to his sources – Kendrick Lamar is “getting ready” for something and will be coming out with new material very soon. But Ak believes that will have nothing to do with their explosive fight, which is a sharp contrast to The Boy’s recent lyrical content through those “Plottttwisttttt” drops. Whether or not that’s true is a question for Father Time and not the one with Sampha. Regardless, both fanbases will likely continue to celebrate this year, be it the continued success of “Not Like Us” or Drizzy’s bulging hard drive.

Still, not every new release from Drake has been successful, praised…or even approved, according to some theorists. His long-awaited collaboration with Benny The Butcher, “Buffalo Freestyle,” landed on the Black Soprano Family boss’s new EP, but disappeared from streaming services shortly afterward. The YouTube video was taken down due to a copyright strike from UMG, so there’s definitely something going on behind the scenes that we’re not aware of. Still, if this IG story is to be believed, there will likely be more to replace that removal. But that overload also comes with its pitfalls, which Aubrey will have to strategically navigate to prove his opposition wrong.
