Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts for the Literature Fair

VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) – The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts invites readers, writers and authors to the Turner Center 2024 Literary Fair on Saturday, September 14.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., visitors can enjoy author talks, free book raffles, book sales and book signings.

According to a post by the Turner Center, the literary fair will “highlight local and regional writers and authors who will be able to exhibit, read and sell their works.”

There are 15 more free sales spots for authors and writers. The application deadline for one of these spots is Sunday, September 1st.

All authors receive a sales table with two chairs and the opportunity to lead a workshop highlighting an aspect of the writing craft.

The literary fair will also feature the Turner Center’s fifth annual writing contest for area youth. The event will also highlight the Young Writers League, the Writers League and other literary resources available at the center, according to a post from the Turner Center.
