Ohio State football has built this roster and this coaching staff to win it all this year. Anything less would be a disappointment for the Buckeyes. If they can win this national title, it would be their third national title in 22 years.
Not only will the Buckeyes win the national championship, but they will also win every game in the College Football Playoff by at least two touchdowns. I think at this point in the season, the Buckeyes will be so confident that they will be unbeatable.
Will Howard will keep the offense on its toes and the running game will be able to keep the clock on Ohio State’s side in the late stages of the game. At this point, the offense will be able to make long drives and explosive plays that can lead to one or two play drives if needed.
Defensively, Ohio State will be able to shut everyone down. With such a big lead, teams will be forced to play against the best secondary in the country. That won’t end well for them. Ohio State will be able to keep everything in front of them and even force a few turnovers.
These are certainly bold predictions for a season that will have a huge impact on the future of the Ohio State football program. This time next year, we will either have a chance to defend our title as national champions or there will be a new man at the helm of the program.
