What spectators will see at the King of Iron Fist tournament in Tekken 8, but this time with better seats

About a week ago, someone posted an interesting clip showing what it would be like to watch the King of the Iron Fist tournament in the world of Tekken. Of course, we were put in the perspective of a spectator who didn’t exactly have the best seat.

Yanos626 is back with another clip showing a real match. This time, the audience actually managed to sit in the front row of the arena stage.

The round shown in the clip is from an online replay where a Tekken God-ranked Jin player faces off against a Tekken God Supreme-ranked Lee user. As expected, the higher-ranked player of the two comes out on top in this match.

According to Yanos626, the crowd noises heard in this scene were taken from Evo and other Tekken events within the fighting game community. Whenever Lee lands a launcher, the crowd can be heard chanting “Aye!”, which is similar to the chants heard when Yun or Yang are able to launch their super combos in Street Fighter 3: Third Strike.

As mentioned, the viewer has a much better view of the action as it happens. Of course, Yanos626 makes a point of saying that the viewer is still in the audience when the camera pans at one point in the round to show others cheering nearby.

It’s quite an exciting scene. This kind of view might actually be worth buying tickets for, unlike the stadium view we had last time.
