The following lanes and ramps will be closed in Metro Detroit

DETROIT – The summer orange barrel season and incessant construction work will continue to impact drivers in southeast Michigan this weekend.

Some freeways, busy main roads and on-ramps will be closed at varying intervals this weekend in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. Some closures are more temporary, while others are expected to last several weeks.

Here is a list of road closures in Metro Detroit between August 9 and 15, provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Road, lane and ramp closures

I-75 in Wayne and Oakland counties:

• Wayne County: NB I-75 at I-375 – Two lanes open. When: Friday, August 10, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Wayne County: SB I-75 ramp to WB I-94 closed. When: Closed until Monday, August 12, 8am

• Oakland County: EB/WB Grange Hall ramp to NB I-75 closed. When: Friday, August 9th, 21:00 to Monday, August 12th, 05:00.

I-94 in Wayne County:

• WB I-94, 75 to M-10, one lane open. When: Until Monday, August 12, 8 a.m.

I-96 in Wayne County:

• WB I-96 Local closed from Wyoming to W Outer Dr. When: Friday, August 9th, 19:00 to Monday, August 12th, 05:00.

• WB I-96, Livernois to M-8/Davison, 2 lanes open. When: Friday, August 9th, 19:00 to Monday, August 12th, 05:00.

• WB I-96 Express ramp to I-96 Local closed. When: Friday, August 9th, 19:00 to Monday, August 12th, 05:00.

• WB I-96 local ramps to/from closed EB M-8/Davison, M-5/Schaefer, Greenfield, NB/SB Evergreen.

• EB/WB I-96/M-14, Sheldon to Levan, 1 lane open. When: Saturday, August 10, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• WB I-96/M-14 ramp to SB I-275, temporarily closed. When: Saturday, August 10, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• EB/WB M-14/I-96 ramp to NB I-275, 1 ramp lane open. When: Saturday, August 10, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

I-275 in Wayne County:

• The SB I-275 ramp to WB M-14 is temporarily closed. When: Saturday, August 10, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• EB/WB I-96/M-14, Sheldon to Levan, 1 lane open. When: Saturday, August 10, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• WB I-96/M-14 ramp to SB I-275, temporarily closed. When: Saturday, August 10, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• EB/WB M-14/I-96 ramp to NB I-275, 1 ramp lane open. When: Saturday, August 10, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

I-375 in Wayne County:

• The SB I-375 ramp at Larned was temporarily closed. When: Monday, August 12th, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. until the end of August.

I-696 in Oakland County:

• NB Coolidge closed on I-696. When: Monday, August 12th, 9:00 a.m. to Thursday, August 15th, 3:00 p.m.

M-1 (Woodward Avenue):

• Oakland County: NB M-1/Woodward, South Blvd to Auburn Ave, 1 lane open. When: Monday, August 12th, 9:00 a.m. to Wednesday, August 14th, 3:00 p.m.

• Wayne County: SB M-1/Woodward, Calvert St to Chicago, 2 lanes open. When: Monday, August 12th, 7am, until the end of August.

M-3 (Gratiot Avenue):

• Macomb County: SB M-3, Toepfer to 10 Mile, two lanes open. When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, August 9, until the end of August.

M-10 in Wayne County:

• NB: M-10 ramp to EB 94 closed. When: Daily from 9am to 3pm until mid-August

M-24 in Oakland County:

• WB M-24/Lapeer connector ramp to NB I-75 closed. When: 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10th.

M-39 (Southfield) in Wayne County:

• NB/SB M-39 ramps to WB I-96 closed. When: Friday, August 9th, 19:00 to Monday, August 12th, 05:00.

• NB M-39, I-94 to M-153/Ford Rd, 1 lane open. When: Friday, August 9, 5 a.m., until the end of August.

• NB: M-39 ramp to US-12/Michigan closed. When: Friday, August 9th, 5:00 a.m. to Monday, August 12th, 5:00 a.m.

• NB M-39 Service Drive, Village Rd to Hubbard closed. When: Friday, August 9th, 5:00 a.m. to Monday, August 12th, 5:00 a.m.

M-53: (Van Dyke) in Macomb County:

• NB M-53 at local Van Dyke Ave, 2 lanes open. When: 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, August 11th.

M-59: (Hall) in Macomb County:

• WB M-59 at Garfield Rd, 2 lanes open. When: Monday, August 12th, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. until the end of August.

M-85 (Fort Street) in Wayne County:

• M-85, King Rd to Harrison, 1 lane open. When: 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 12th.

M-102 (Eight Mile) in Wayne County:

• EB M-102, Meyers to Livonia, 3 lanes open. When: Friday, August 9th, 7:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 13th, 3:00 p.m.

M-153 (Ford Rd) in Wayne County:

• WB M-153/Ford ramp to Greenfield closed. When: Friday, August 9th, 3pm to Saturday, August 10th, 4pm

• NB/SB Greenfield ramp closed for WB M-153/Ford. When: Friday, August 9th, 3pm to Saturday, August 10th, 4pm

US-12 (Michigan Ave) in Wayne County:

• EB/WB US-12/Michigan ramps to NB M-39/Southfield closed. When: Friday, August 9th, 5:00 a.m. to Monday, August 12th, 5:00 a.m.

US-24 (Telegraph) in Oakland County:

• SB US-24 at Square Lake Rd, 3 lanes open. When: Monday, August 12th, 7:00 a.m. to Wednesday, August 14th, 3:00 p.m.
