Big Sean’s album “Better Me Than You” has a new release date

If there was a persistent person, it would be Big Sean. The “On Up” rapper is determined to release his sixth studio album. Better me than youout into the world. This goal would be achieved by the end of this week.

After a leak, a subsequent delay and harsh criticism of his flow on the single “Yes”, the upcoming work now has a new release date. Today (26 August) during an Instagram livestream (recorded by NFR Podcastvisible Here) Big Sean announced that fans should expect Better me than you will be released on streaming platforms this Friday, August 30th.

“The album comes out this week,” he said. “I’m grateful to my mom for always being my guardian angel and giving me advice like that. She’s really helped me through it. Like I said, I haven’t slept much. I’ve been giving it my all. I’m totally burned out. I’m tired. I’m doing this shit for the people who are messing with me. I’m excited. That’s one thing my mom said: ‘Be excited! Get it out – your album is awesome!’ Everyone around me keeps saying that.”

Big Sean also said that supporters can experience the project live at one of the listening parties he has planned in New York City, Los Angeles and, of course, his hometown of Detroit.

Not much is known about Big Sean’s events in Los Angeles and Detroit, but on August 27th at Samsung 837 NYC as part of the Samsung Presents series (in collaboration with IMG Agency), he will be holding an intimate conversation about the project before presenting it to attendees.
