Attention nostalgia fans: McDonald’s will be offering an exclusive new line of collectible glasses in August that commemorate some of the most popular collectibles of the past, and the collection will be available at Louisville stores.
Each of the six glasses features a unique design reminiscent of past trends such as Beanie Babies, the Minions range and previous McDonald’s mascots like Grimace and the Fry Guys.
“These new collectible cups commemorate some of our most memorable designs and global collaborations over the years, allowing longtime fans to relive precious moments and helping a new generation create their own lasting memories,” said Morgan Flatley, Global Chief Marketing Officer and Head of New Business Ventures at McDonald’s.
How to get the exclusive new collection:
People can get a McDonald’s collectible cup by purchasing the Collector’s Meal at participating locations. Company officials said the campaign will also take place in Louisville, but did not specify which stores will participate. Customers are asked to check the McDonald’s app to see where the cups will be available or to order them in advance.
The Collector’s Meal will be available starting Tuesday, August 13, via the McDonald’s app or at participating locations.
Customers will receive one cup per meal while supplies last, but there is no limit to the number of meals a customer can order.
The available Collector’s Meals vary depending on the time of day. During breakfast hours, which typically last until 10:30 or 11:00 a.m. at most locations, customers can get a Sausage McMuffin with egg sandwich, hash brown and coffee. For the rest of the day, customers can choose between a 10-piece Chicken McNugget or Big Mac meal, which includes fries and a drink.
