International powers France and Spain will take their rightful place in the final of the 2024 men’s soccer games and have a chance to play for gold on Friday in Paris. The final is scheduled to begin at noon ET (6 p.m. in Paris) and will be televised live on Telemundo and streamed on demand.

Hosts France have dominated their way through the Olympic field so far, starting with a 3-0 victory over the United States in the tournament’s very first men’s soccer match. The French have beaten their five opponents 11-1 for a 5-0 record. Most recently, they defeated Egypt 3-1 in the semifinals in a match that went into extra time after a 1-1 draw in regulation time. Michael Olise scored the decisive goal in the 108th minute.
Spain triumphed over Egypt 2-1 in Group C, then beat Japan (3-0) and Morocco (2-1) in the quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively. Morocco had more shots on goal than Spain (16-14) and took the lead with a penalty to take a 1-0 lead at half-time, but Fermin Lopez equalised in the 66th minute and Juanlu Sanchez scored the decisive goal in the 85th minute.
