Big Sean’s sixth studio album “Better Me Than You” will be released on August 30th

After a delay, Big Sean’s album “Better Me Than You”, his first album release since 2020, will be released on Friday.

The 36-year-old rapper announced live on Instagram that the release of his highly anticipated album, originally scheduled to be released on August 9, had been delayed due in part to his battle with COVID-19.

“I’m a chronic worrier,” the Detroit native said in an Instagram Live on Monday. “I’m working nonstop. I haven’t had it easy lately. It hasn’t been easy.”

“Better Me Than You” is Big Sean’s first drop since September 2020.

He has released several singles from Better Me Than You, including “Yes” and a collaboration record with Alchemist, “Together Forever”.

Big Sean performed at the reopening of Michigan Central Station in June and at the NFL Draft in downtown Detroit in April.
