‘Things didn’t go as expected’: Prince Harry ‘misses Britain terribly’, friend claims

Prince Harry has become an “angry boy” as he reportedly has difficulty adjusting to life in the United Stateswhere he and his wife Meghan Markle have lived there for over four years since 2020, The Sunday Times reports, citing his close friend. Duke of Sussex “misses Britain terribly,” claim his close friends.
“He’s an angry boy. Things haven’t turned out the way he wanted. I think he misses being here (in Britain) terribly and wants to be admired more. Everyone who knows him feels that he would rather be on top here and loved by everyone, like (Price) William and Kate are,” one of Harry’s close friends told the Sunday Times.
Since moving to the US, Harry and Meghan have only returned to the UK a few times.
The couple have been involved in various projects, including a six-part Netflix documentary, a revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey and the release of Harry’s memoir, Spare.
A friend of the couple said they could have left the royal family with “dignity and decency” without ruining the institution, adding: “The conclusion is that they made money from destroying his family.”
Another close friend of Harry’s said many cannot forgive him for his decision to discuss family matters publicly. “I can’t believe he would stoop so low. This is outrageously disloyal. Oprah, Netflix and then the book? Three offenses and you’re out,” the friend said.
Former advisers and long-time acquaintances have noted that Harry appears to be at a crossroads. They said: “He spends his time looking back. If only he could turn around and look forward.”
A person who has known Harry since his teenage years pointed out that he is “isolated from his family and most of his old friends” and now finds himself in an environment “where you can no longer maintain the same friendships as you did when you were younger.”
