There is a discount of 500,000 VND ($25) on domestic travel to northern Vietnam and the central region.

Customers booking hotel accommodation will receive a 15% discount on food and beverage bills for a la carte menus and room service orders.

Saigontourist Travel Service Company will introduce new tour programs and eco-friendly tourism products based on Travelife’s sustainability criteria, contributing to Vietnam’s commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

Tourism company Vietravel has announced that it will offer a product package “with the best prices on the market,” including a three-day Danang discovery tour for just VND3.99 million (US$141).

Some tours offer discounts of VND2 million (US$81), such as an Australia Discovery Tour for VND27.99 million (US$1,128).

The ITE fair has so far recorded the participation of 450 exhibitors and 200 international buyers from 33 countries and regions, an increase of more than 10% compared to the 2023 edition. More than 10,000 business appointments are expected to be made at this year’s fair.

The fair is also the only international tourism event in Vietnam with an international buyer program, providing international tourism companies with the opportunity to expand their markets and bring tourists to Vietnam.

It also supports the search for tourism partners in Vietnam and the Lower Mekong region.

Doan Thanh Tra, Marketing and Communications Director of Saigontourist Travel, said the fair is an opportunity for the company to continue to promote and expand channels to attract tourists from more than 40 key markets around the world and the region by meeting with numerous international buyers.

“We will introduce partners and visitors to the potential of tourism in Vietnam, as well as new and unique destinations, optimal services and many unique programs that combine river and sea tourism, thus creating the conditions for signing a long-term cooperation.

“Participation in the ITE fair is a good opportunity for the company to update and reassess tourism trends in international markets. This will allow us to make appropriate adjustments in product and service orientation to meet the needs of tourists and partners,” she said.

Le Truong Hien Hoa, deputy director of HCMC’s Tourism Department, said the theme of this year’s fair reflects the strategic vision of HCMC’s tourism industry in the current context and underlines the importance of tourism development based not only on economic benefits but also on harmony with cultural, social and environmental values.

Hoa pointed out that “sustainable tourism” is not a new concept, but its application and development in each specific strategy requires commitment and continuous efforts from all stakeholders.
