Black Ops 6 Beta Start Date
The Black Ops 6 beta will go live on August 30th at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. You can pre-download the game now, just make sure you download the Call of Duty launcher and the Season 5 update. This will make the Black Ops 6 download much smaller and save you time, so you can jump in as early as possible on Friday.

Black Ops 6 Beta Start Date
The BlackOps 6 Beta goes live on August 30 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. BST. This is the Early Access period, the first of two weekends where players can get into the game early. The full schedule can be found below:
- Early Access (First Weekend): 30 August – 4 September
- Open Beta (second weekend): 6 September – 9 September
As Friday approaches, Activision will likely announce the exact times per time zone. This section will be updated once they do.
Black Ops 6 Early Access – how to get in
To get into the BlackOps 6 To participate in the Early Access Beta Weekend, you must have pre-ordered the game or be an Xbox Game Pass subscriber (Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass PC, or Game Pass Console).

The BlackOps 6 The open beta weekend runs from September 6th to September 9th, starting on Friday at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST and ending on Monday at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. You can download the beta from the PlayStation, Xbox, and Battle.net storefronts.

There are eight cards in the BlackOps 6 Beta. These include the following:
- Skyline (core)
- Rewind (core)
- Scud (core)
- Babylon (core)
- Decayed (core)
- Stakeout (core)
- Gala (strike)
- Grube (strike)
Three maps will be released on the first weekend, with three more being added throughout the weekend, followed by two more maps during the second weekend.
What to expect from the Black Ops 6 beta
The BlackOps 6 The beta will include 8 maps to play on, including Skyline, Rewind, Scud, Babylon, Derelict, Stakeout, Gala, and Pit. Confirmed modes include Kill Order, Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint. The first weekend will kick off with three maps and four modes, before more are added throughout the weekend. Players can reach level 20 before the cap is raised for the second weekend.
The second weekend will then see the introduction of two more maps, as well as the Gunfight and Face Off Kill Order game modes. The level cap will be raised to 30 at this time, giving players a chance to earn additional rewards and unlockable items.

Can you pre-download the Black Ops 6 beta?
You can BlackOps 6 Beta now. This will work whether you’re joining the Early Access weekend or the Open Beta the week after. Just search for it in your respective store and free up enough storage space (you can find estimated download sizes on the Call of Duty website). We managed to find the COD Black Ops beta content using the search function in the Xbox Store. Note that this will require you to download the main pack from COD HQ if you don’t already have it.
What is the Black Ops 6 Beta Vault Edition Bonus?
If you have pre-ordered the BlackOps 6 Vault Edition, you can use some of your bonuses during the beta. You can play as one of the four operators from the Hunter vs Hunted Operator Pack. These include Park, Adler, Brutus and Klaus. You can also try out five weapons from the Mastercraft Weapon Collection.
