ChargePoint leads the way with AI-powered repair tool to repair electric vehicle chargers faster – ChargePoint Hldgs (NYSE:CHPT)

ChargePoint Holdings, Inc. CHPT Shares are trading higher today. The company launched an AI-powered driver assistance tool that can quickly diagnose and repair electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

A first for the electric vehicle charging industry, this new software uses AI to detect physical problems and improve charger uptime.

The software allows drivers to report malfunctioning charging stations by submitting photos through the ChargePoint app. The software analyzes the images and sends the results to ChargePoint’s Network Operations Center, reducing the need for on-site inspections and speeding up problem resolution.

Rick Wilmer, CEO of ChargePoint, said: “This technology enables us to assess and resolve physical issues that cannot be detected through remote monitoring, underscoring our commitment to innovations that enable a reliable charging network.”

Recently, the company has been working with the world’s largest automobile manufacturers to further develop charging solutions for electric vehicles.

This week the company cooperated with Daimler Buses to integrate its telematics and charging management systems into Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses.

In July, the company and Porsche Cars North America have joined forces to integrate charging services. The collaboration will increase the number of chargers available to Porsche customers across North America to over 100,000.

Investors can participate in the share via SPDR S&P Kensho Intelligent Structures ETF SIMS and Invesco WilderHill Clean Energy ETF PBW.

Price promotion: CHPT shares were up 3.11% to $1.825 at last check on Thursday.
