STEP Recovery Center prepares for the 5th annual RIDE FOR RECOVERY on Saturday, August 17

STEP Recovery Center on Georgetown Road is gearing up for its 5th annual RIDE FOR RECOVERY, which will feature all kinds of bikes and vehicles on Saturday, August 17. Kimberly Davis and Wendy Lambert recently joined Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection, with Davis giving a preview.

AUDIO: Registration begins at 10 a.m., stands set up at 11 a.m. Cost is $20 per rider and $5 per passenger. Ride begins and ends at the STEP Recovery Center, 2500 Georgetown Road. There will be food and music.

IN BLOOM will be the music. And as Wendy Lambert reminds us, this RIDE FOR RECOVERY is for all types of vehicles: two wheels, four wheels, whatever.

AUDIO: Anything with wheels is welcome. We usually have a couple of motorcycles and the Jeep guys behind them; and then other people on the recovery tour who just drive their cars. I mean, it’s a lot of fun. And with IN BLOOM coming up, we’re just going to let it all out. I mean, these guys are incredible anyway; it’s just beautiful.
