…Marble Room Steaks & Raw Bar! Opened in 2017, this delicious eatery transformed a historic banking hall on Euclid Avenue in Downtown Cleveland into something truly extraordinary.


Come in and be dazzled by the elegance and grandeur of this restaurant, which dates back to 1893 when President James A. Garfield’s sons, Harry Augustus Garfield and James Rudolph Garfield, built the building that now houses the Marble Room.
Garfield’s sons built the building in honor of their father, a Cleveland native who was assassinated by a disgruntled job applicant in 1881. It was the first steel-framed skyscraper built in the city and featured a grand marble staircase and Italian marble wainscoting.
In the years following its construction, the building served as a savings bank, trust office, and several banks, retaining its luster throughout the decades. In 2017, the glitzy and historic bank at 623 Euclid Avenue was transformed into a steakhouse and raw bar that does justice to its beauty.
With a menu of top-notch steaks—including the Waygu, which is on every steak lover’s wish list—this restaurant has made a name for itself as one of the best fine dining spots in Cleveland—and Ohio!
