PARIS (AP) — Olympians at the Paris Games take care of their hair. French braids are a popular choice, and there is a wide range of coloring, braiding and long locks.
After refining his style for the walk-in at the Stade de France before the 100-meter final – he braided small white beads into his hair for the showpiece event of athletics – Noah Lyles won the gold medal by a whiskeror by a hair’s breadth.
Jamaica’s sprint star Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Her long, bright green and gold hair set the bar high in previous competitions, and the national colors were again a popular hair color theme at the 2024 Olympics. Hurdler Denisha Cartwright from the Bahamas made a more individual statement, running in bright pink on the purple track in Paris.
