On July 12, Simplicity Car Care invited franchisees and friends to its annual Calgary Stampede party, held this year at Simplicity Hallmark Autobody.

“It was truly a great event,” said Franco Borrelli, owner of Simplicity Car Care Hallmark Autobody. “We all enjoyed each other’s company; a gathering of Simplicity franchisees, Simplicity employees, insurance partners, vendor partners, and friends and family. It was symbolic of the Simplicity Car Care community.” More than 300 guests attended the party, which featured live music and a good old-fashioned summer BBQ.

“Lori Kole sang a song that’s back on the Canadian charts – ‘Annie,'” Greg Wing, director of brand development at Simplicity, told Collision Repair. “It’s a tribute to the missing Indigenous women in this country.”

Scott Nicholsson from the Las Vegas Duelling Pianos also played the keys at the event and kept the guests dancing until late in the evening.

“The owners of Simplicity Car Care Calgary Central, led by Franco and Rob Borelli, open their premises to us every year on this day. They show the great family that Simplicity Car Care is – they do everything they can to make sure the Stampede is unforgettable for our friends.” “We can plan, we can buy food and drinks and hire a band, and that makes it an event. All the people who came made it a party,” Wing said.

“Thank you to everyone who came out and made this the best event ever! And a special thank you to everyone who didn’t boo me off the stage when I stood up, played guitar and sang with the band!”
