West Ham United were able to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United for just £15 million earlier this summer.
But it’s hard to believe that this super-cheap transfer fee was not the best thing about signing the 26-year-old right-back for West Ham.

In his two appearances for the Hammers, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has already disproved the myth that he is not particularly good in attack.
He was truly incredible in his performance as a substitute against his former club Crystal Palace last weekend and helped change the game for us.
Then in my opinion he was the best man on the pitch last night against Bournemouth.
Julen Lopetegui paid £15 million to bring the speedy full-back from Old Trafford to the London stadium a few weeks ago, and it already looks like a sensational deal for West Ham.
But aside from the transfer fee, there was something else that made the deal that brought him to the Hammers even more incredible…
Amazing Aaron Wan-Bissaka deal even better than initially thought
There won’t be many better signings in the summer transfer window, if any.
We all know that £15 million was a real bargain for the Hammers for a player of the quality of the former Crystal Palace star.
He is already looking like he will be a standout player for us and I honestly can’t believe we were able to sign him for just £15 million!
However, in my opinion, that is not the most incredible thing about this transfer.
I think the most amazing thing about our deal to sign Wan-Bissaka was the fact that we had free reign with him.
Why weren’t other top clubs interested in him? Were there no top teams abroad interested in him? It’s completely bizarre to me that we had no real competition for his signature.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka: groundbreaking new signing for West Ham
I actually think he will prove to be our most important signing of the summer.
With his breathtaking pace, athleticism and outstanding defensive ability, he represents a huge improvement over Vladimir Coufal.
His performance last night against Bournemouth gave everyone an idea of what he can offer.
The 26-year-old defended incredibly well and looked dangerous going forward. He was involved in some wonderful moves down the left and showed what he’s capable of midway through the second half when he used his incredible speed to deny a Bournemouth counterattack.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka will help take the West Ham side to a whole new level, his presence in the team will allow us to press more aggressively and play higher up the pitch.
I honestly still can’t believe it seemed so easy for us to sign him this summer.
