Accusation: Texas man secretly filmed boy changing in Life Time dressing room with hidden camera

A Texas man is facing charges after police caught him taking photos of underage victims in a Life Time dressing room in Eden Prairie.

Michael Scott Howard, 50, of Dallas, was charged on Monday with two counts of invasion of privacy of a minor.

On June 21, Eden Prairie police officers were called to Life Time after a person reported that Howard was taking photos with a hidden camera on his cell phone. Police later searched Howard’s phone and confirmed that there did indeed appear to be a hidden camera attached.

A search of Howard’s phone found at least 23 video files and “substantially more photos,” all apparently taken in the Life Time men’s locker room.

According to police reports, most of these videos and photos showed underage boys, some as young as 14, in various stages of undress, including completely naked. The victims appeared unaware that they were being filmed.

In total, at least 63 victims can be seen undressing in the video, the complaint said.

According to police, Howard is currently living in his van. There is a nationwide arrest warrant out for him.
