AEW Collision spoilers for August 24: All-In card set, Cardiff favorites

AEW made its television debut in the UK on August 21 dynamitebut that wasn’t the only thing the company recorded on Wednesday at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff, Wales. They also filmed the episode of collision.

What happened during the final sprint to All In and Wembley Stadium? According to fans posted online, this is what happened…

  • Tony Khan was out and about between shows and took advantage of a Timecopter Analogy to remind fans that AEW taped this week in the wrong order (the Rampage that airs between the shows filmed today was taped last weekend).
  • The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe & Kyle O’Reilly w/ Tomohiro Ishii) defeated The Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Mike Bennett & Matt Taven). KOR defeated Taven by guillotine choke.
  • Willow Nightingale defeated Harley Cameron. Ishii was also out with Nightingale and raised his hand after the win.
  • Katsuyori Shibata (with Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes) defeated Jay Lethal (with Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt). Shibata won with an armbar.
  • Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway defeated Lykos II and Nina Samuels. A quick squash where Stat did most of the wrestling. She threw Stokely at Lykos and let him get the pin.
  • HOOK defeated Big Bill by submission with a sleeper. Chris Jericho provided commentary. Big was very popular with the crowd, who chanted “We still love you” as he used heel tactics against HOOK. Cardiff booed the finish and chanted “We want Bill” as Jericho posed with the FTW Title after the match.
  • Ari Daivari made a heel promo in Cardiff about the lack of a Premier League team (Daivari represents the Premiere Athletes stable, get it?!?). His opponent was Jeff Jarrett, who was very good… just not quite as good as Big Bill. Double-J got the pin after hitting The Stroke.
  • The main event was the decision about the fourth team in the London Ladders Match for the Trios titles at Everything included. Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin) and Lio Rush faced Wheeler Yuta & Claudio Castagnoli from Blackpool Combat Club and their partner … PAC.
  • BCC & PAC defeated Top Flight & Lio Rush. PAC was another Cardiff favorite. Rush made the pun after Claudio threw him into a Yuta dropkick and PAC hit him with the Black Arrow.
  • Christian Cage and Mother Wayne were out afterward. Cage congratulated the winner and boasted about his track record in ladder matches. The distraction allowed Nick Wayne and Killswitch to attack BCC and PAC with chairs, but the Bang Bang Gang saved them. They retrieve a table from under the ring just as the lights go out. When they emerge, House of Black is standing on a ladder at the top of the ramp. They make their way to the ring, whereupon The Patriarchy storms apart. The alliance between the non-champions doesn’t hold, as all four teams brawl to close the show.

Sounds like a good way to spend a few hours before Everything included Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET on TNT?
