Alexa Pano is one of the game’s rising stars and has already won one game since joining the pro team in 2022. Before that, she had a glorious amateur career in which she earned a reputation as a generational talent.

1. Alexa Pano was born on August 20, 2004 in Westborough, Massachusetts.
2. Her parents divorced when she was a newborn, and she was raised by her father, Rick, in Florida.
3. She started playing golf at the age of five when she told her father that she wanted to play golf. Two weeks later after playing for the first time, she entered her first tournament.
4. At the age of seven, she was filmed for the documentary “The Short Game” during the 2012 US Kids Golf World Championship.
5. In the film, she stated that her goal was to be the first woman to compete in an event at Augusta National.
6. She played in the 2014 national drive, chip and putt final there and in 2017 became the first national finalist to make it three times.
7. With five titles, she is the one with the most US Kids Golf World Championships.
8. In 2016, at the age of 11, she competed in the Yonex Ladies Open, becoming the youngest golfer to compete in an LPGA of Japan Tour event.

9. At the age of 13, she competed in her first LPGA Tour event, the 2018 Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic.
10. That same year, she was part of the winning US Junior Ryder Cup team.
11. In 2019, at age 14, she was the youngest of the 72 players in the field at the inaugural Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
12. This year she was also the youngest player in the field of the US Women’s Open – her first major title.
13. Pano also played on the winning U.S. team at the 2019 Junior Solheim Cup.
14. She turned professional in 2022 and played on the Epson Tour.
