Although this Ohio State football player has not yet played a game, he is on the Freak List

Ohio State’s football team has a roster full of freaks. The Buckeyes are the second-ranked team in the country for a reason. Both the offense and defense are filled with some of the most talented players in the country. Because of this, they are one of the favorites to win the national championship.

Every year, Bruce Feldman of FOX and The Athletic makes a list of the craziest athletes in the country. These aren’t just the best players on a particular team. These are guys who have crazy personality traits. One particular Buckeye made the list.

That player is true freshman Jeremiah Smith. Smith has yet to play a college game, but he still has more hype surrounding him than any other freshman in the country. He was the top recruit in the country and is now at the top of Feldman’s Freak List.

Smith is already seventh on Feldman’s freak list. Smith has yet to take a college snap. However, his physical attributes are what put him on this list. As a true freshman, he stands 6’3″ and weighs 215 pounds. He’s also a freak in the weight room and at practice.

Smith can bench press 355 pounds, squat 530 pounds, jump 36 inches, and sprint just over 23 miles per hour. He’s a specimen the college football world has rarely seen. All that power and speed make him a nightmare for opposing defenses.

Smith will be the team’s third receiver, which means he’ll be on the field a lot, and there will be no shortage of plays called for him either. He’s an incredibly talented player who will only get better with age.
