“Always with Izzy” – Drake (again!) bets big on Israel Adesanya winning back the title | UFC 305

Drake once again imposes his dreaded curse Israel Adesanya before UFC 305 later tonight (Sat., August 17, 2024) LIVE on ESPN+ from the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, as the millionaire rapper bet $450,000 on “Last Stylebender” to defeat the UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis in the main event.

As you may know, Drake likes to bet big money on some of the UFC’s most high-profile fights. The popular hip-hop artist has endorsed fighters like Alex Pereira, Nate Diaz, Leon Edwards, and even Francis Ngannou when he fought Anthony Joshua, but one of Drake’s favorites is Adesanya.

Check out some of Drake’s previous bets on “Last Stylebender” below:

  • Chose Adesanya to KO Sean Strickland at UFC 293 ($500,000 lost)
  • Did Adesanya pick to knock out Pereira at UFC 287 (won $2.7 million)
  • Did Adesanya pick Pereira to win at UFC 281 (2 million dollars lost)
  • Did Adesanya pick to defeat Jared Cannonier at UFC 276 (won $200,000)

This weekend, Drake is once again putting his money on Adesanya to win the main event. This time, Drake is betting $450,000 on the “Last Stylebender” leaving UFC 305 with the middleweight title. The official payout is just over $850,000, which isn’t as much as previous bets, but still a great way to end the weekend.

What do you think, maniacs? Did Drake just curse Adesanya again or will “Last Stylebender” earn the rap artist some extra cash this weekend?
