   
XRP bulls are eyeing a higher price after the asset surpassed its yearly high in mid-July, but one analyst argues that a triple-digit valuation is within reach for the seventh-largest cryptocurrency.
Market analyst Dark Defender shared his long-term predictions for XRP on X (formerly Twitter), noting that the asset could hit an all-time high of $333 in the near future. However, the analyst did not provide a timeline for when XRP is expected to reach the ambitious price point, but forward-looking optimists are looking at late 2025.
“People think I’m here for 3, 5 or 18,” wrote Dark Defender. “I’m here for at least $333.”
Dark Defender made the predictions while XRP was fluctuating between $0.61 and $0.63 after hitting impressive milestones since early July. The asset is still basking in a 35% seven-day surge that has pushed XRP to a yearly high of $0.74.
The road to $333 appears to be an arduous one for XRP, as it has been battling significant regulatory headwinds for nearly four years. From its current levels, a move to $333 would represent a 45,000% increase, but XRP needs to hit several milestones before it reaches Dark Defender’s prediction.
 Currently, XRP enthusiasts are eyeing the $1 mark, and several traders are expecting a breakout above $0.74 to fuel the push towards a dollar valuation. However, other analysts are conservative in their estimates and are urging traders to brace for a lengthy consolidation in the foreseeable future.
A bull pennant lights the way
Dark Defender’s predictions for a stellar rally were confirmed by several sources in the ecosystem, with Crypto Michael pointing out the appearance of a bull pennant pattern on the seven-year chart.
“In all my years as a crypto trader, I have never experienced a 7-year bull market,” wrote Crypto Michael. “We may be on the verge of witnessing one of the most significant breakouts in crypto history.”
Crypto Michael argues that XRP’s recent upswing is expected to continue in the long term, while other community investigators expect the emergence of bullish god candles for the asset. Crypto analytics firm Santiment shares a similar sentiment to previous analysts, noting that trader sentiment is predominantly bullish for the asset.
