Angelina Jolie shows off her new blonde hairstyle upon arrival in Venice – and her fans say she exudes “crazy” vibes

ANGELINA Jolie arrived at the 81st Venice Film Festival in Italy with a new blonde hairstyle.

Fans quickly compared her fresh look to her character in the hit 1999 drama film “Girl, Interrupted.”

Angelina was spotted with lighter hair in Venice, Italy on August 27, one day before the start of the 81st Venice Film Festival.

The Maleficent actress wore a beige trench coat with short sleeves, navy blue pants, black boots and a black skirt.

Her new look caused quite a stir among fans, who said her hairstyle had a “crazy” vibe, a nod to her 1999 film, in which she starred alongside Winona Ryder.

“I love the blonde on her. Brings back the ‘crazy’ vibe,” said one Reddit user.

“She still looks so beautiful 💗 I’m obsessed with her blonde hair,” wrote another.

“How can someone look so glamorous in a simple trench coat? I’m too impressed to even be jealous lol,” gushed a third.

“I’m here for Angie’s ~blonde era~,” commented a fourth.

The 2024 film “Maria,” starring Angelina, is scheduled to premiere at the festival on August 29.

Angelina plays the role of the American-Greek opera singer Maria Callas.

The film was nominated for Best Film at the Venice Film Festival.

Angelina’s new hairstyle comes months after the actress showed off her new tattoo.

On June 16, during the 2024 Tony Awards, the 49-year-old unveiled a small black sparrow tattoo across her chest for the first time.

Clinical psychologist Dr Joshua Klapow told The US Sun her new tattoo was “powerful,” adding: “The message behind Angelina’s flying bird tattoo is about carrying a burden.”

Angelina’s appearance at the 81st Venice Film Festival comes less than a month after the “Tomb Raider” actress stood by her son Pax when he was involved in an e-bike accident.

Pax suffered a head injury because he was not wearing a helmet during the incident.

He was admitted to hospital after reportedly complaining of a headache.

According to The Mirror, Angelina rushed to be with her son.

A source told People that Pax spent several days in the hospital before being released from intensive care.

“He has suffered complex trauma and is now beginning the long road of recovery and physical therapy,” they continued.
