“Answering the Call” is a weekly segment focused on public safety and information.

SHREVEPORT, Louisiana – We’re on your side and answering the call. Today we’re talking about a new tool at the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Lt. Matt Gaydos visits the KTBS 3 studios and explains the benefits of the new smartphone app.

The app will serve as an alternative way for the Sheriff’s Office to communicate with the residents and visitors of Bossier Parish and provide information quickly and efficiently to any smartphone owner.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office app was developed by TheSheriffApp.com, a brand of OCV, LLC. that specializes in developing mobile apps for sheriff’s offices and public safety organizations across the country.

With just a few clicks, users can access features such as:

  • Welcome by the Sheriff
  • Holiday clock
  • Join our team
  • Pay taxes and fines
  • Information about the prison
  • Sex offenders
  • Contact us
  • Submit a tip

The app is now available to download for free from the App Store and Google Play. Search for “Bossier Parish Sheriff, LA.”
