Arkansas football coach Sam Pittman spoke to the media on Tuesday to preview the Razorbacks’ 2024 fall training camp.
The Arkansas football season begins in Little Rock for the second consecutive year. The Razorbacks travel to the state capital on Thursday to play an intrastate rivalry game against Arkansas Pine Bluff.
The Hogs face a critical fall for head coach Sam Pittman, who enters his fifth season at Arkansas on the hot seat. The Razorbacks failed to meet expectations in 2023, stumbling with a 4-8 record and the firing of offensive coordinator Dan Enos midseason.
His replacement, Bobby Petrino, will make his second debut with Arkansas on Thursday. Petrino is expected to revitalize Arkansas’ offense, and his hand-picked quarterback for the upcoming season is Taylen Green, who transferred from Boise State. Fans will have their first chance to see the duo in action in Little Rock.
