Asian travel rewards app achieves growth targets within six months of launch

Azgo, Asia’s newest travel cashback app, launched in February this year and has already achieved its ambitious growth targets for the year in just six months.

The app has amassed over 250,000 users since its launch across key markets such as China, Singapore and Hong Kong and generated over $2.4 million in gross merchandise value (GMV), which is the total value of transactions made through azgo, representing a rapid growth curve of almost 620 percent month-on-month growth.

This rapid growth not only shows that there was a gap in the market that azgo is now filling for both consumers and retailers, but also that the industry is ready for new disruption and ripe for change.

Backed by azgo’s experienced leadership team from Booking.com, Trip.com and Skyscanner, azgo is leading the evolution of the travel technology industry.

Some of the changes introduced and led by azgo that have fueled the company’s rapid growth include accelerating rewards payouts to its customers in just seven days, using artificial intelligence (AI) to speed up the validation of cashback on the best deals and offers from a network of established travel partners such as Booking.com, Agoda, Creatory by MoneyHero Group and Pelago by Singapore Airlines, and being the first mobile travel booking platform to respond to every customer query within 30 minutes with personalized responses during customer service business hours instead of relying on automated responses.

azgo aims to become the leading AI-driven rewards and price comparison platform to help users make smarter decisions while traveling. With many top-tier OTAs already partnering with the app, azgo will continue to focus on growing its partnerships and delivering compelling results to its key merchants and partners.

In the initial phase, azgo has launched its products in China, Singapore, Hong Kong and Vietnam. In the next phase of its journey, azgo will set its sights on the US and Australian markets.
