Average gasoline price in Georgia drops another five cents

In Georgia, gasoline prices per gallon of regular gasoline fell by an average of another five cents.

According to AAA’s weekly report, the average price of gasoline in Georgia is currently $3.23 per gallon.

“Across Georgia, students have returned to schools and parents are constantly on the go, running out of gas tanks faster than usual, so it was a welcome relief when gas prices at the pumps dropped over the weekend, as if to celebrate the season of back-to-school festivities,” said Montrae Waiters, spokeswoman for AAA-The Auto Club Group. Moderate crude oil prices and minimal demand keep gas costs at an idyllic low level.”
