Average gasoline price in Los Angeles County falls, in Oregon it rises

The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline at self-dispensing stations in Los Angeles County fell one-tenth of a cent to $4.562 on Wednesday, a day after the price had already fallen three-tenths of a cent earlier.

The average price is 1 cent lower than a week ago, 9.2 cents lower than a month ago and 79.2 cents lower than a year ago, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has fallen by $1.932 since rising to a record high of $6.494 on October 5, 2022.

The average price in Orange County rose four-tenths of a cent to $4.489, a day after falling seven-tenths of a cent. That’s eight-tenths of a cent less than a week ago, 9.2 cents less than a month ago, and 81.3 cents less than a year ago. The average price in Orange County has fallen $1.97 since rising to a record $6.459 on October 5, 2022.
