With school starting up again, it’s time to start shopping for school. And if you’re looking to save some money, your friends at financebuzz have found the best places to shop if you’re looking to save a few bucks.

The website found that Walmart is the cheapest place to buy school supplies, costing just over $67. Walmart is followed by Dollar General ($70.50), Target ($83.25), Staples ($101.60) and Meijer ($109.25).

The most expensive place to shop is Michaels, where you’ll spend $185.28 on essentials.

The materials included on the list are colored pencils, glue sticks, construction paper, markers, a pencil box, safety scissors, a scientific calculator, notebooks, a ruler, folders, loose leaf paper, binders, a backpack, a lunch box, pencils, pens, highlighters, a combination lock, dry erase markers, and a tissue box.

Also, be careful where you buy things. According to the study, Amazon has higher prices than many other stores.

Your bill may also depend on your child’s age. The average cost of school supplies for elementary school students is $69.71. For middle school, it’s $152.92, and for high school, it’s $133.29.
