Pininfarina has teamed up with Warner Bros. to unveil a stunning new hypercar that has everyone talking. Inspired by none other than the Dark Knight himself, the Pininfarina B95 Gotham made its dramatic debut at The Quail during Monterey Car Week. This one-of-a-kind creation is a perfect blend of classic automotive heritage and cutting-edge technology, fitting for a car inspired by Bruce Wayne’s double life as a billionaire playboy and Gotham’s caped avenger.
The B95 Gotham is an open-top barchetta two-seater that harks back to the golden age of the automobile. Its design takes its cues from early 20th century racing cars. But this is no ordinary homage; it’s a hypercar that embodies the spirit of Wayne Enterprises, the fictional company that powers much of Batman’s high-tech arsenal. The Wayne Enterprises logo is proudly displayed on the car’s body, chassis and door sills, making it clear that this vehicle is something special.
Pininfarina has chosen a classy, glossy black Argento Vittori paint finish for the car, which is perfectly complemented by unique wheels with matte black inner and glossy black outer rings and a black central locking ring. The elegant and menacing look of the exterior contrasts beautifully with the luxurious interior in light brown leather, which features quilted stitching in the center panels – a nod to both elegance and comfort.
While the B95 Gotham is aesthetically inspired by the past, its technology is downright futuristic. The human-machine interface (HMI) display is personalized with a Wayne Enterprises design and features a virtual assistant that sounds just like Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler. It’s these kinds of thoughtful touches that set this hypercar apart from all the others on the road.
Performance is where the B95 Gotham really shines. Despite its vintage looks, it has a staggering 1,900 horsepower and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in under two seconds. Electronically adjustable aero visors direct air up and over the open cockpit, ensuring that the driver and passenger remain comfortable even at high speeds.
Currently, only one Pininfarina B95 Gotham exists, making it a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece. However, Pininfarina plans to build four more for select customers, with the possibility of more bespoke models inspired by the Batman universe in the future. These hypercars will likely become the most sought-after collector’s items for car enthusiasts and Batman fans alike.
