Drake Bell asks Drake and Josh Fans should take it easy with his co-star Josh Peck after Bell revealed Peace on set He was abused by former Nickelodeon dialogue coach Brian Peck.

After Bell spoke out about his experience with Brian Peck, many Nickelodeon fans attacked Josh Peck on social media. Although Josh Peck and Brian Peck share the same last name, they are not related.

Bell has now explained on TikTok that Josh Peck contacted him and asked his fans not to be so hard on his former co-star.

“I just want to clarify something. I’ve noticed a lot of comments on some of Josh’s TikToks and some of his posts,” Bell said in the video. “I just want to let you guys know that this is really, you know, processing this and going through this is a really emotional time and a lot of it is very, very difficult. So not everything is going to be made public.”

He continued, “But I want you to know that he reached out to me and it was very sensitive. But he reached out to talk to me and help me work through it. And that was really, really great. I just wanted to let you know that and ask you to take it easy.”

Brian Peck was arrested in 2003 on 11 charges, including sodomy, lewd acts on a 14- or 15-year-old child by a person 10 years older, and oral sex while under anesthesia or with the administration of a narcotic. The minor’s name was never released, however.

Bell revealed in the docuseries that he was the minor Peace on the set: The dark side of children’s television, He shared details of the abuse he suffered at the hands of the children’s network’s former dialogue coach.

Following the documentary’s broadcast, Nickelodeon issued a statement saying, “Now that Drake Bell has revealed his identity as a plaintiff in the 2004 case, we are dismayed and saddened to learn of the trauma he has endured, and we commend and support the strength it takes to go public.”
