Biden draws inspiration from Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar and hits out at Trump with new diss track

Two of the biggest feuds in America right now – Joe Biden vs. Donald Trump and Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake – have now collided after the Biden-Harris campaign team used one of Lamar’s diss tracks in a video to attack the president’s Republican rival.

In a new video posted on Instagram, the Biden team took Lamar’s song “Euphoria” and changed some of the lyrics that were originally intended as a Drake disparagement to refer to the former president.

The video begins with a photo of Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris smiling, with text projected above it that reads: “It’s always been about love and hate, and now I want to say I’m the biggest hater.”

A photo of Mr Trump wearing a red MAGA cap is then shown, with the modified lyrics of the song superimposed: “I hate how you trample on women’s rights.”

The next line, accompanied by a ridiculous image of Mr Trump speaking at an event, reads: “The way you talk about immigrants.”

It then cuts to a stern-looking former president in a tuxedo, accompanied by the lines: “I hate the way you dress.”

The video then switches to Mr. Trump typing on his phone, with the words “I hate how you secretly dissent on Truth Social.”

The diss track comes at a time when the dispute between the current and former presidents is escalating ahead of the presidential election in November.

The former president has been on trial in Manhattan for four weeks. He is accused of 34 counts of falsifying business records. The allegation relates to so-called hush money payments to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election in exchange for her silence about an alleged affair with Mr Trump in 2006.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee has accused the Biden administration – without evidence – of orchestrating the hush money trial, as well as the other cases he faces at the state and federal levels, to hamper his 2024 campaign.

Although the president has distanced himself from the trial itself, Mr Biden mocked the criminal proceedings against his rival at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 27.

“Donald has had a rough few days lately. You could call it stormy weather,” he said.

Meanwhile, the two rappers are in the middle of their own escalating dispute and have released competing diss tracks in recent days.

In his song, Lamar accused Drake of being a “pedophile” and having a secret daughter, while Drake fired back by accusing Lamar of physically abusing his fiancée.

As the dispute continues, an unnamed security guard was shot in a drive-by shooting outside Drake’s mansion in Canada on Tuesday morning.

According to police, it is currently unclear whether the incident is related to the rappers’ feud or not.

The next day, a burglar attempted to break into his mansion. A suspect was arrested at the scene, detained under Canada’s Mental Health Act and taken for medical examination, authorities said.
