CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – For the first time in 20 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville has doubled the number of “Littles” they serve.

Dozens gathered at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center on Saturday to celebrate the achievement at the annual Big Night of Bourbon. Attendees enjoyed bourbon tastings, food and socializing.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville provides individual mentoring relationships that help children and teens reach their full potential. They pair the little ones with the “big ones” – adult mentors. Their programs aim to impact the lives of the youth and the mentors. In the greater Clarksville area, over 100 children have been supported through Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs.

“Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this cause for all the little ones in our community,” said John Stephens, chairman of the Big Brothers, Big Sisters Board.
