Blake Lively makes a brave confession about personal hygiene

While Blake Lively has faced significant backlash over her recent behavior surrounding the controversial film It ends with usThe actress still manages to promote another project – her new hair care line Blake Brown.

In an interview with fashion about the beauty brand, Lively made a surprising revelation about her own hair: she apparently doesn’t use conditioner.

“I don’t know anyone in my industry who uses conditioner,” Lively claimed.

“It’s not that people in the entertainment industry are blessed with better hair,” the mother of four continued. “We use a different hair system than the process that is advertised in the mass market.”

According to Lively, the “system” in question involves purchasing two sets of shampoo and hair masks – one for moisturizing and one for strengthening. Then, switch between the sets each time you shower, using the shampoo as usual and then applying a hair mask for at least 30 seconds.

Lively explained that she started using the “mask-only technique” after her hair was damaged during her first job.

“It was just so damaged and destroyed,” she said. “A hairdresser explained to me that this process could save it. When you give strength to the hair, you give it foundation, structure and stability. But if you just give it strength, it becomes brittle and hard. So it also needs moisture and elasticity. But if you give it too much, it breaks.”

“People think hair masks are more of a specialty product or a one-time treatment. But I use them every time, just like I use conditioner,” Lively continued.

“I live by the principle that if you take something, you have to give something back. And that goes for my hair too,” she added. “So if I take something by styling it or wearing it, then I’m giving something back.”

The star also said that the name “Blake Brown” was a “version” of her own nickname.

“My father took my mother’s last name – Lively comes from my mother and Brown from my father,” she revealed.
