In case you *somehow* missed it, Blake Lively is currently promoting her latest film project: It Ends With Us.
The film is based on the best-selling book of the same name by author Colleen Hoover and follows the life of Lily Bloom (played by Blake), who deals with issues such as intergenerational abuse, domestic violence, grief and true love.
Although the film is well worth seeing, the press tour was a little more lame: There was plenty of flashy fashion and rumors of a feud between Blake and her co-star/director Justin Baldoni, who have never been seen together on the red carpet.
One of the highlights of the PR tour? Blake’s dedication to method dressing, which saw her showcase an impressive range of floral looks in homage to her character’s flowery name and her profession as a florist.
So far, we’ve seen Blake braless under a white blazer with floral embroidery, a bubblegum pink dress reminiscent of Serena van der Woodsen and Barbie, a Versace dress embellished with butterflies and flowers as a nod to Britney Spears, and even leather chaps embroidered with flowers.
And Blake’s latest look was yet another floral spectacle. At the Copenhagen premiere of It Ends With Us, she wore one of the most opulent dresses we’ve ever seen on the red carpet: a Versace ballgown with a crystal-embellished corset that appeared to have some eye-catching cutouts on the bodice and a huge train.
The dress’s voluminous, skin-colored skirt was embroidered with gold and purple flowers, and the star wore chunky bangles and blue and gold earrings.
Simply stunning!
