Boston is set to get the next “Swingers,” which will be designed in the style of a retro British country club

Swingers, the mini golf club, is coming to Boston.

The new Boston location, designed in the style of a retro British country club, will have a restaurant on the basement and ground floor, while the two upper floors will feature mini golf and slot machines. Swingers plans to provide a total of 350 seats at this location, making it the perfect place to play a round of golf with friends or host a group event for special occasions.

But you’ll have to wait a little longer. The new restaurant isn’t scheduled to open until fall 2025.

What is swinger?

Swingers was founded in 2014 by Matt Grech-Smith and Jeremy Simmonds in a pop-up store in London. After the success of the first two locations in London, Grech-Smith and Simmonds expanded to the US with locations in New York City, Las Vegas and Washington, DC.

Aiming to be the most entertaining venue anywhere, Swingers combines British coastal mini golf, upscale street food, cocktails and live DJs to create a unique interactive bar experience.

What is mini golf?

Crazy golf is a form of mini golf that originated in the United Kingdom and where the holes are set on hills and slopes. Crazy golf often has more quirky themes and eccentric obstacles than regular mini golf.

At Swingers, the mini golf course has nine holes, all designed to be fun and challenging for players. The special drinks menu on the course allows drinks to be ordered and delivered to players during play.

How to get to Swingers

If construction goes as planned, Swingers in Boston will open in fall 2025.

Reservations are recommended. Scheduled opening hours are from 12pm to midnight on weekdays and from 12pm to 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.

The 20,000-square-foot restaurant will be located at 777 Boylston Street in Back Bay, a building owned by the Tavistock Restaurant Collection.
