Brent Steiner to lead Wayne County Community Foundation, replacing Auble

The Wayne County Community Foundation has elected a new board chair.

Brent Steiner has been a trustee since 2013 and represents the northeast quadrant of Wayne County. In addition to his role as president, he is an ex officio member of all standing committees of the board.

A Wayne County native, Steiner graduated from Norwayne High School before attending Ohio University, where he earned a double major in business administration and human resource management.

Steiner, co-owner of Ramsier Financial Services in Smithville, is a certified financial planner and holds Series 7, 66 and life/health insurance licenses. He is also a member of the Financial Educator Network and has taught retirement planning courses.

He is an active member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Rittman and a board member of the Apostolic Christian Village, also in Rittman. Steiner previously served as a board member and chairman of the Orrville Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Green Local Schools Board of Education for 12 years.

Steiner replaces Mark Auble, who resigned after four years as president and will remain an active member of the foundation’s board of directors and will represent the Orrville region as he has done since 2006.
