Bryan Kuznitz of Fame on Fire prepares new album “The Death Card”

Although Fame on Fire was formed just over a decade ago, frontman Bryan Kuznitz admitted that the last four years have been the most formative for the band’s current situation.

“It really started when we started touring regularly,” Kuznitz told Chuck Armstrong on Loudwire Nights Thursday (August 8). “It all started with Ice Nine Kills in 2021.”

Now, in 2024, they are preparing to release their third album in four years, the highly anticipated The Death Card.

“I’m really excited,” he said. “I really think this is going to be a game changer for us.”

In addition to the music, which includes the best songs Fame on Fire has ever written, Kuznitz is happy that fans can delve deeper into the images they see around The Death Card.

“We gave it our all,” Kuznitz admitted.

“We really gave it our all – no stone was left unturned. We didn’t do anything half-heartedly. Everything was well thought out. Everything had to be important. Everything had to make sense.”

He told the Loudwire Nights Audience expects a concept that The Death Card is based on tarot cards. As they began writing and recording, Fame on Fire became so interested in tarot that they began directing their new music.

“Each song has a tarot card associated with it and the lyrical meaning behind the songs is linked to the tarot card,” he explained.

“The most important thing was that the song had to relate to us in some way, because it almost felt insincere and disjointed if it didn’t relate to us as well.”
