With training camp approaching at the end of September, the Milwaukee Bucks are making sure they have enough players.

The Bucks announced Tuesday that they have signed guard James Akinjo and center Liam Robbins. The Athletic reported that both players agreed to Exhibit 10 contracts that will give them access to training camp and provide Akinjo and Robbins with an incentive to sign with the Wisconsin Herd, Milwaukee’s G-League affiliate.

The 6’1″ Akinjo played in the G League last season with the Herd and the Stockton Kings. In 14 games with the Herd, he averaged 9.7 points, 3.9 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game. He played with the Bucks’ Summer League team in Las Vegas.

Akinjo played in college at Georgetown, Arizona and Baylor.

Robbins, a 7-0 center, spent last preseason with the New Orleans Pelicans before being released. He was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year for Vanderbilt in 2022-23. Robbins also played at Minnesota and Drake.

The Bucks have already filled their three two-way player spots after signing Anžejs Pasečņiks in August.
