play

Former Lady Vols star Candace Parker and her family will appear on national television on Tuesday.

The three-time WNBA champion, however, will not be playing basketball. Parker will compete against former WNBA star Lisa Leslie on ABC’s “Celebrity Family Feud.” Parker’s team includes her wife Anna and her mother Sara. Parker had her third child in May, her second with Anna. They named their son Hartt Summitt Petrakov Parker in honor of legendary Lady Vols coach Pat Summitt.

Team Parker plays for the Pat Summitt Foundation.

“Celebrity Family Feud” is not the first time Parker has appeared on a game show. She also appeared on “Celebrity Jeopardy!” in 2023.

Parker and Leslie were teammates for two seasons with the Los Angeles Sparks before Leslie retired in 2009. Parker was drafted No. 1 overall by the Sparks in 2008 and won Rookie of the Year and MVP. She remains the only player in league history to win both awards in one season.

Parker announced her retirement in April after 16 seasons in the WNBA. She finished her career as a two-time MVP, WNBA Finals MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and 10-time All-WNBA selection, to name just a few of her numerous accolades.
